❷ Yamanaka-Lake view point
The Yamanakako Panorama Observatory offers breathtaking views of majestic Mount Fuji and the azure waters of Lake Yamanaka. From an elevation of over 1,000 meters, the 360-degree panorama unfolds before you, taking your breath away with its beauty. The reflection of Mount Fuji in the lake enhances its grandeur, while on clear days, the contrast of the snow-capped peak against the blue waters creates a stunning visual spectacle.
❸ Oshino-Hakkai
At Oshino Hakkai, you can see crystal-clear ponds created from spring water from Mount Fuji and traditional architecture unique to snowy regions. You can also drink the spring water from Mount Fuji. In the transparent water, various colors of trout swim gracefully. Besides enjoying salt-grilled dishes, you can also explore several souvenir shops in the area.

"Fujisan Beer Terrace" is a space where you can enjoy craft beer while gazing at the magnificent Mount Fuji. The beer brewed with the pure water from the foot of Mount Fuji is exceptional. Enjoy the refreshing breeze during the day and the twinkling stars at night while savoring delicious food made with local ingredients.
❺ Kitaguchi-Houngu Shrine
The Northern Entrance Shrine of Mount Fuji, Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine, is a sacred site that has been revered by people since ancient times, with Mount Fuji as its deity. Its charm lies in the breathtaking panoramic view of Mount Fuji and the sacred atmosphere cultivated over a long history. And, not to be forgotten are the giant cedar trees that stand tall, covering the precincts. Passing through the bright vermilion torii gate, a serene precinct unfolds before you. In front of you stands the dignified worship hall, and behind it, the main shrine, designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
❻ Arakurayama-Sengen Park
This is a must-visit spot for Mount Fuji sightseeing, where you can simultaneously view the world-famous Mount Fuji and the five-story pagoda. To reach the observatory with the pagoda, you will walk up and down a gentle slope for about 15 minutes. The collaboration between the shrine's torii gate and Mount Fuji is also wonderful, making it a spot where I highly recommend visiting in a kimono. Furthermore, the area is illuminated at night, and if the weather is clear, Mount Fuji blends into the landscape as a giant shadow.
❼ Fuji Ide-Sake Distillery
Fujii-de Sake Brewery is a sake brewery that carefully crafts sake, preserving the rich nature and traditions of the foot of Mount Fuji. Their sake, made with the pure spring water from Mount Fuji, is known for its mellow and elegant flavor. During a brewery tour, you can see the sake brewing process and enjoy a tasting. They also offer a variety of attractive products, including seasonal sake. It's perfect for souvenirs, so be sure to visit!

From the rooftop observatory, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Fuji, and there is also a well-stocked souvenir shop.
